After a memorable 30-minute scenic flight to Lukla, your adventure starts. Among many trekking in Everest region, Gokyo Lake is popular, fascinating and awe-inspiring trekking route. Serving up a breath-taking view from Gokyo Ri (5340 mtr.) is one of the main highlights of this trek. It is an alternative to Everest Base Camp trek with fewer crowds on the trail.  Several amazing views of the majestic snowy mountains, pristine lakes, and Nepal’s longest glacier reward any visitor on this route.

Known for its dense Sherpa population, your visit to the Everest region will allow you to experience Sherpa lifestyle and culture as well as visit Buddhist Monasteries. Also, you will encounter wilderness with opportunities to see musk deer, Himalayan Thar, snow leopard, snowcock, and pheasant. Remember, the fabled Yeti is rumored to be somewhere in this Khumbu region!

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m.)

When you arrive in Kathmandu, a BMS airport representative will await your arrival, welcome you into Nepal, and provide a transfer to the hotel. We will have a briefing to share additional details about the trek and allow an opportunity to answer any last minute questions. You will have time to rest and prepare for your trek. Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2840m.) and Trek to Phakding (2610m.) 3-4 hours walk

Your day starts with an early morning wake-up. After the 15 minute drive to the domestic airport, you will have a 30 minute scenic flight to Lukla. From there, you will have an easy and gradual hike down around 3-4 hours to Phakding. Overnight at Guest House. Full Board Plan

Da 03: Phakding - Namche Bazar(3440 m.) 5-6 hours walk

Your 2nd day starts after breakfast. This day you will hike approximately 5-6 hours to Namche Bazar from Phakding. Among today’s highlights are traversing along the suspension bridge of Dudh Koshi River, entering Sagarmatha National Park and ascending to Namche Bazar through pine forests. Having every sort of service and amenity in this beautiful Himalayan town, Namche is literally  known as the Gateway of Everest. Overnight at Guest House. Full Board Plan

Day 04: Acclimatization Day. Approximately  4-5 hours walk

This will be your first acclimatization day during your trek. To stay away from altitude sickness and to acclimatize, we will have a leisure day. We use the day for a short hike to Everest View Hotel, which offers legendary views of Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam and many more peaks. Visiting Kumjung village and exploring some Buddhist monasteries are scheduled and we will return back to Namche. Overnight at Guest House. Full Board Plan.

Day 05: Namche - Khumjung (3780m.) 3-4 hours walk
We start our trek to Khumjung after having breakfast.  The traditional village of Khumjung is above the Namche Bazar. It is also the largest village in Khumbu in the foot of the sacred peak Khumbila. Hillary school is here and we can visit there too. Overnight at Guesthouse. Full Board Plan.

Day 06: Khumjung - Dole (4200 m.) 5-6 hours walk

Another beautiful day starts with your morning breakfast. After having it, we will proceed to our day’s destination, Dole. During our hike, we will find ourselves with various beautiful scenery including rhododendron and pine forest, wonderful mountain vistas, Yak meadows and plenty more. Overnight at Guest House. Day  07: Dole - Machermo (4470 m.) 4-5 hours walk

Another amazing and easy day for you. En route to Machermo, after walking for an hour, will get into Luza (4390 mtrs.) We will be walking through the side of the valley and past chortens decorated with prayer flags. There will be an opportunity to see wonderful mountain views before we reach to Machermo. Day 08: Machermo-Gokyo Lake (4790 m.) 4-5 hours walk.

Another adventurous and wonderful day awaits you. Hiking up, walking down, river crossings, and passing various types of scenery. Most importantly, you will have an opportunity to see many lakes such as Tobsoche Tosho, Dudh Pokhari, and more. Overnight at Guest House. Full Board Plan.

Day 09: Early morning hike to Gokyo Ri (5360 m.) for panoramic view, return to Gokyo and Rest day.

This is the 2nd rest and exploration day of this trip. As a rest day, you will hike up to Gokyo Ri to see the Himalayan vistas and the pristine view of the lakes from the captivating view from Gokyo Ri peak. Also, we will have the incredible view of the highest peaks like Mt. Everest, Cho-Oyu, Lhotse, Maklau, and Nuptse. Back to Hotel. Overnight at Guest House. Full Board Plan.

Day 10: Gokyo Lake - Lumde (4368m.) via Renjo Pass (5360m.) 6-7 hours walk
After breakfast, we embark further ahead. Enroute to Lumde, we will do one major pass called Renja la pass which is 5360 meters high. From here, we will have gradual descend towards Lumde. After approximately 6-7 hours, we will reach Lumde. Overnight at Guesthouse. Full Board Plan.

Day 11: Lumde - Thame (3820m.) 4-5 hours walk
Today we start to hike down after having breakfast. On the way back to next place, we walk through two places called Marulung and Tarnga. Of course, the mountain views and other impressive views can’t be ignored nor underestimated during the day. After 4-5 hours of an easy and pleasant day, we arrive in Thame. Overnight at Guesthouse. Day 12: Thame - Manjo (2835m.) 4-6 hours walk
We start our walking in the morning time after breakfast. Thame to Manjo is also another fun and comfortable day for you. As we already spent two nights in Namche on the way to going up, we will not stop here this time. After passing through Namche Bazar, we continue to onward to Manjo. Overnight at Guesthouse. Day 13: Manjo - Lukla (2840m.)
Your final walking day for this trip still has plenty of excitement. We continue further down after breakfast. Our journey today will have us winding uphill and downhill through woodlands and crossing many beautiful places such as Phakding. After 4-5 hours walking, we arrive at our day's destination Lukla. Day 14: Lukla - Kathmandu (1350m.)
It’s time to see off the homeland of the highest peak. You will have early morning breakfast and get ready to fly back to Kathmandu. After 30 minutes of an adventurous and scenic flight, we arrive back to Kathmandu. Our transport will drive you to the hotel. You will have free and relax time this afternoon. In the evening, we take you to an authentic Nepali restaurant for farewell dinner with a live cultural program.

Day 15: Departure.
Today we will provide transfer to the airport for your onward destination or back home. We really hope that you had unforgettable holiday experience with us and look forward to seeing you again as our guests. Farewell!!!!
