The Annapurna Circuit Jomsom Trek is an ideal option for those wanting to do the Annapurna Circuit but have limited time. Most notable on this highly desired route is that we will be crossing the highest pass in the world called Thorang La Pass (5416m.).

This trek will take us through all sorts of terrain and Nepali culture. We will visit a sacred pilgrimage location where the temple is dedicated to Lord Bishnu- The preserver God.

For those with the time, this trek is unbeatable and you will be sure to capture the beauty of the Himalayas and Annapurna region.

Day 1: Kathmandu

Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be warmly greeted and welcomed by our BMS representative with marigold garland. We will provide you with transport to the hotel. This evening you have a detailed briefing about your program. Overnight at hotel inclusive of bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Drive to Besisahar ( 5-6 hours) & local bus to Ngadi (930m.) (1.30 hours)

Our adventure starts today. After having early breakfast at the hotel, we will go to the bus park to catch our bus to Besisahar. After approximately 5-6 hours drive, we will reach Besisahar. After getting there, we will again get another local bus to arrive at our starting point in Ngadi. Overnight at Guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 3: Ngadi - Jagat (1310m.) 6-7 hours walking

After breakfast, we begin to trek to our next destination. Due to the expansion of the motorway, we do today’s trek mostly through the motorway with little time spent on the trekking trail. Enroute, we pass through the famous village called Bahundanda and wide terraced fields. After 6-7 hours walking from Ngadi, we will arrive to Jagat. Overnight at Guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 4: Jagat - Dharapani (1960m.) 6-7 hours walking

Our walking starts after having breakfast at the hotel. We begin with a hike uphill through the forest. Then, we walk along the Marshyangdi river with rocky trail ascending uphill until we reach Tal-first village of Manang District. We traverse through the wonderful valley, hiking up and down until we arrive into Dharapani.  Overnight at Guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 5: Dharapani - Chame (2670m.)  6-7 hours walking

As usual, we start our day after having breakfast. The beautiful human settlement of Bagarchap will be the first village we encounter after leaving Dharapani. Walking through woods, river, flat-roofed houses made out of stones, and apple orchards would be our highlights of this day. We reach Chame-Headquarters of Manang district. Annapurna II and other magnificent mountains will be waiting to welcome you when you get into Chame. Overnight at Guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.           

Day 6: Chame - Upper Pisang (3360m.) 5-6 hours walking
We will have a wonderful mountain view in the morning with breakfast before setting off. Passing through a wooded area, rocky terrain of Marshyadi Valley, and brilliant sceneries will engulf us during our walking time.  After walking 5-6 hours from Chame, we will reach our destination, Upper Pisang. Overnight at Guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 7: Upper Pisang - Ngwal (3916m.) 5-6 hour walking
Morning shows the day! This will be the truth when we will have a spectacular view of Mt. Annapurna II and III, Gangapurna, Lamjung Himal and many more with one of the best breakfasts you have ever had. After that, we will be heading further up to our destination. After approximately 5-6 hours walking, we will be in the big and impressive village called Ngwal for our stay. Overnight at Guest House inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 8: Ngwal - Braga (3540m.) 3-4 hours walking
Today, you will not have a tough day. As usual, we start our trekking after breakfast. We are descending down and then flat way through the wide and lovely valley. Also, we will be able to see the Sher Gompa, an ancient Buddhist monastery, on the way to Braga. After just 3-4 hours of walking, we conclude our day with arrival to our guesthouse. Overnight at Guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 9: Acclimatization day. Hike to Ice Lake (4667m.) and back to Braga again. 6-7 hours walking
Another significant and acclimatization day in Braga. We will do a remarkable uphill day hike to Ice Lake (4667m) which offers the jaw-dropping views of Annapurna Himalayan range, Manaslu, Lamjung, Chulu Far East and many more magnificent mountain peaks. After exploring the view, we will return back to Braga again. Overnight at Guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 10: Braga - Yak Kharka (4050m) 5-6 hours walking
As usual, we begin our day after breakfast. At first, we hike gradually up and on the way beautiful sceneries with beautiful hemlocks such as Manang and Ghusang. Around 5-6 hours walking from Braga, we reach to Yak Kharka. Overnight at Guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 11: Yak Kharka - Thorang Phedi (4450m.)  5-6 hours walking

Another significant day for you.  After breakfast, we embark on next destination. Enroute we will walk through the village called Ledar village. The trekking trail would be as usual with around 5-6 hours walking from Yak Kharka until we reach Thorang Phedi. It is here that really offers an absolute and amazing view of Thorang Peak and other impressive mountains. Overnight at Guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 12: Thorang Phedi - Muktinath (3760m.) via Thorang la Pass (5416m. )7-8 hours walking
The most adventurous day for the trekkers awaits because we are crossing the highest pass in the world called Thorang La Pass (5416m.). In order to avoid bad weather, we start to walk quite early in the morning from Thorang Phedi. After ascending 4 hours, we will be at the top of the Pass called Thoranga la Pass, which offer breathtakingly incredible views of Annapurna, Nilgiri, and Dhaulagiri ranges.  The viewpoint is beautifully decorated with chortens and Buddhist prayers flags.

After spending some time to enjoy, reflect, and really experience this moment, we start to descend down to a holy town called Muktinath.  It will take approximately 7-8 hours to reach Muktinath. Today is a long day but it will prove itself to be a day you will remember for your lifetime. One of absolute beauty and crossing the highest pass in the world! Your rest will be well deserved. Overnight at Guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 13: Muktinath - Kagbeni (2810m.)  via Jong 4-5 hours

On this day, we visit a sacred pilgrimage spot for both Hindus and Buddhists. The syncretism of Buddhist and Hindus can be seen in this sacred place. The temple is dedicated to Lord Bishnu-The preserver God. Another significant spot is the 108 sacred water taps around it to take a holy bath. Even this place holds several important and ancient monasteries.
After exploring this meaningful place, we walk down to Kagbeni via Jong with the view of amazing arrays of mountains, landscape, and valley. After walking 4-5 hours walking, we reach Kagbeni. Overnight at Guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 14:  Kagbeni - Marpha (2670m.) 5-6 hours
After breakfast, we start to walk again for our next place. The amazing Kaligandi river and its eye-catching valley would the highlights of this trip, even though we have to walk through the dusty motorway. We cross through the Jomsom and continue walking to Marpha. After walking 5-6 hours, we will reach Marpha known as the Oasis of Apple Orchids. This is one of the best places for an overnight stay. Marpha is commonly famous for Apple Orchids and the Marpha Brandy (Apple wine) is really famous here. Overnight at Guesthouse inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

 

Day 15: Marpha - Jomsom (2720m.) via Dhumba Lake and Thini Village. 4-5 hours walking
After spending the night and valuable time here, we leave for Jomsom with the marvelous view of Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and many other mountains. We walk through the valley passing Dhumba Lake and  Thini Village. After 4-5 hours we return back to Jomsom again. Overnight at Guesthouse, inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner

Day 16: Jomsom-Pokhara
Last but not least! You will have your last breakfast in the mountain. After breakfast, we will get ready to go to the airport to fly back to Pokhara. After a 20 minute scenic flight, we will land in Pokhara. From here, we will transport you to the hotel to rest and enjoy Pokhara. Overnight at hotel inclusive of bed and breakfast.
Note: In case of flight cancelation, we manage private jeep back to Pokhara same day

Day 17:  Pokhara.
Extra and Free day in Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel inclusive of bed and breakfast.

Day 18: Kathmandu
After having early breakfast, we will go to the Tourist Bus park to catch the tourist bus for Kathmandu. After 6-7 hours scenic drive from Pokhara, we will be in Kathmandu with transport to your hotel and free time. In the evening you will be taken to a final dinner at an authentic Nepali Restaurant with live cultural performance program. Overnight at hotel inclusive of bed and breakfast.

Day 19: Departure
We will drive you to the airport for your onward destination or home. We hope you had a wonderful time during your stay in Nepal. We wish to see and serve you again in Nepal soon. Farewell!!!!
